Hello and welcome

Foodies in progress has been created to support families who want to help their children build a happy relationship with food. I aim to provide useful advice through sensory food education and Montessori principles in a holistic approach that takes in consideration all the difficulties our busy parenting lives face daily.

As a food & eating behaviour expert, a chef and a mum, I’m here to help in any way I can so that you can achieve this for your family. I’ll use this space to share some of the things I’ve learned and have been applying with my own family, the tops and the flops, the ups and downs - because regardless how much knowledge we have, our children will very often find ways to challenge it.

My main principle is that food is so much more than fuel or nutrition. It’s enjoyment, it’s social, it’s comfort - and in a family environment, it creates affective memories for a life time.

For this reason, I believe happy relationship with food means health and enjoyment walk together with no need to compromise or count calories.

How about you? What does food mean to you?
